Nesuto Patisserie

15:46

Second post for the week... and I'm excited to share more of my food stories.

Had a super lazy Sunday which I only got up at about 2pm and I knew that I had to eat.
Went all the way to Tanjong Pagar because I was craving for Indonesian food but oh hey, they were closing when I arrived. Should've just dragged myself out of bed earlier.

With a hungry stomach, headed to Salmon Samurai for late lunch and after, as Pat's theory goes, it's DESSERT TIME!

With 45 minutes left before the patisserie closes, I stepped into Nesuto Patisserie and was in for a total surprise! First glance: all their cakes look amazing... Choosing just 1 to eat was super difficult because please, look at how attractive their Le Chocolat is.

Me being me, probably influenced by watching a lot of masterchef videos lately and also, a sucker for food presentation, I ordered the most pretty looking one, which is the Orelys Cassis.

A combination of Orelys Mousse and Blueberry Cassis Confit on top of a Dark Choc Brownie, the taste was not as sour as what I expected. It was a light, sour combination that is both sweet and refreshing.

Eating dessert from this place reminds me very much of 2am:dessert bar in Holland V, which is equally as good.

I will definitely come back here to try their Le Chocolat! A sweet ending to my Sunday.
