Easter Holiday Tripping: York

23:30

It was a great chance this holiday to travel but didn't have much friends I could ask out with. All my uni mates somehow have their own schedules, most of them had friends and families who came over to visit but I'm the only one who's alone and pretty much free to go out everyday.

SOMEBODY JUST COME TO LONDON PLEASE!

And since it is my first year, I wouldn't want to lose this opportunity to travel, even though it just in the United Kingdom. That's the bad thing about being Indonesian, that I need a visa wherever I go.

So during the second week of the Easter break, that's when I started contacting people and I guess there were some opportunities to meet them. I'm really thankful to have met other Indonesians this break, people whom I never thought I will meet since there's no Indos in my school at all. It is not like in Aussie or America that you find many Indo communities...

Travelled to York with new friends and I do hope we meet again even when the term starts... sometimes it is really feels more like home when you mix with the people of the same nationalities.

I love how candid this picture is... Synchronised hand actions, yes we aren't ready for the camera.

Roaming around the streets of York...

As York is famous for their chocolates, me and Nadia bought some to try before going to a gelato shop to chill. Seriously, its the best gelato I ever had. Not kidding, anyone that goes to York should visit Roberto Authentic Italian Gelato. The pistachio was amazing, so rich and smooth!

Spent the next day's evening meeting Silviana since she's in town and we had Indo dinner in a long time! Picture before she leaves back to Manchester. (its blurry but its okay)
