Street Lights
School is not going the way that I wanted. It doesn't feel right after I came back to London from my brother's wedding... Did I miss out from the people around me? Or am I finding myself getting more and more lonely as days go by. I have no one to depend on, no one to share my troubles with. People don't give a shit to what I feel. Was it really worth crying just because some people treat our feelings like trash? The only comfort was to cry more till your eyes get swollen and reading messages of people far away... crying even more when I hear their voices. Sometimes it hurts so much that I can't figure out words to reply and end up ignoring the message. I was so thankful for my friend Eileen who seemed to come over to London just at the right time last Saturday when things were depressing for me. I miss her so much, even now when I am writing this post.
I don't know why but that night, I was overwhelmed with feelings and took a walk by myself at night around the London Eye and Houses of Parliament and as I passed by this busker who sang Hotel California, it reminded me of my brother... Lots of sentimental things are happening to me day by day, and I have to urge to walk through this cold weather these few days because of the excessive thoughts on my mind that I can't put away. I must be crazy to think that I wanted to walk home from Oxford Street to home on Sunday when it was raining so heavily but gave up halfway after walking to Chinatown.
Glad to be in the city where it inspires dreams... I'm thankful to be in London.

First day of uni and I came through the doors looking at around 5 or 6 rows of people staring back at me and with 2 stern looking tutors. Such an atmosphere for the first day... I thought uni was where people will welcome you with smiles and handshakes. Luckily there was Karen whom I met at the enrolment day and I took a seat beside her.
The class opened up with the tutors' self introduction which I can't remember exactly except the fact that my group tutor is an Italian followed by all students taking a mug shot. How unconventional, and embarrassing to be honest.
So here's my name written BIG and PROUD.
9 October 2014, Thursday
Rained poured down on the second day of school. How devastating :(
Contextual and Theoretical studies are on Thursdays and honestly, it is the only two classes that I look forward every week to. You can view my Wordpress where I will post my blog posts/reviews during university. http://riciazmita.wordpress.com (this was part of the assignment by the way)
I guess its better this way to separate my school work from my personal blog, which I post lots of junk. *peace yo*
11 October 2014, Saturday
Saturday Market
Duke of York Square
Went out for lunch with Nisa and her friend to the Saturday Market outside Saatchi Gallery followed by going to the V&A Museum... again, for the 4th time. We then continued our walk to Hyde Park (my first time!) and ate desserts at Lido Cafe Bar before going to Leicester Square.
I separated shortly after reaching Covent Garden and met up with Dian for some shopping time. Got a face mist from The Body Shop and H&M jeans! I fell in love with the jeans the minute I saw it :)
12 October 2014, Sunday
Had Sunday Roast at Hawksmoor Seven Dials with Ci Cindy and gosh I was full. I couldn't take a picture of the place as it was dark, yet alone the food. Didn't think I would be hungry again after that but I ate a whole portion of kimchi fried rice with kimchi pancake when I got home at night.

I realised I kept going the same places here in London and rarely travelled anywhere else, except Shoreditch which I realised after going there is so far away.
So, as we walked down Covent Garden (again)... I can't help the forever hungry me.
I bought Lola's Cupcakes to eat at home and to share with my flatmates and let me tell you the green tea pistachio tastes AMAZINGGG!!! I might get addicted to this.

It was a productive weekend as I spend my Sunday with more shopping - vintage scarves, cards to post for my friends (wait for it), and personal home needs :)
13 October 2014, Monday
It was raining the whole day and I had to go school in the morning for the library tour, which I feel that we are smart enough to know how the library works.
Plans for the later part of the day was to enjoy free food and chat with other international people on Global Day, but turn out to be just as disappointing as the other freshers' events. We ended up eating my own snacks that I bought from Waitrose before coming to the event and leaving after 15 minutes. Here's a selfie to commemorate a not so happy occurrence. =.=
Miles, miles away from home.. Now I find a new place to live.
No edits or whatsoever in this post, because I'm tired and lazy to...

I've first explored this street with Celeste on the 4th day after meeting her near her house at Westfield Shepherd's Bush... and that was the first time I went crazy about Primark... and went again like a few times with my mom to the branch just across Tottenham station. To add, there are excellent Korean food around the area.... Hmm. Kind of missing it right now...

Went Chinatown in search for asian cosmetics because my skin only absorbs asian products :( Came in to find the BB cream at P2BUS because mine is going to finish but to my dismay, was out of stock. Oh well, I got a moisturiser instead! Never heard of this brand PDC but I tried the tester and I'm okay with it. My skin wasn't compatible with the nivea I bought earlier 2 weeks back.
Since we're already in Chinatown,,,, how bout some dumplings at Jen Cafe?? Tried the horlicks there and sorry to say, it sucks :( so tasteless....
Anyways, I continued walking down to Piccadilly Circus, Green Park, and lastly to King's Road for dinner together with my flatmates.
Oh gurning policeman at Ripley's!
Finally be here at the art market!!!
Speaking of which, I really like this painting...
I want to have a daughter in the future that I can take on a beach trip with me...
